YAL at University of Houston-Ron Paul endorsed group

Young Americans for Liberty

The Young Americans For Liberty is a national liberty-minded organization which was endorsed by Ron Paul.  YAL evolved out of Students for Ron Paul.  This new organization is involved in many exciting activities. Just look on You Tube for examples. They are hosting forums, educating students, and working together to spread the message of Liberty.

A newly chartered YAL group exists at the University of Houston. YAL’s National Mission Statement and Statement of Principles are here.

YAL’s goals include:

  • Establish 100 active YAL chapters in 2009
  • Print and distribute 50,000 copies of Young American Revolution (YAR) [issue 1 and issue 2 are online already!!]
  • Host Congressman Paul on at least 5 college campuses in Spring 2009

  • Launch a national field program to recruit new members
  • Train activists in the skills and tactics of  “winning”
  • Provide activism grants to YAL chapters
  • Connect members with resources from other friendly organizations [utilizing the major social networks and tools including Facebook, You Tube, Twitter, My Space, RSS Feed,  , Linkedin, Flickr and others…]
  • Develop a fully interactive, user-driven website
  • Organize at least one national event per month during the school semester with YAL chapters
  • Host 2009 YAL National Convention in Washington, DC [held, July 29th – August 2nd, 2009!! Check it out here]
