Ron Paul Republican Debra Medina needs our help to get at the truth!

“KERA (a PBS TV station) is buckling to demands by the governor (Rick Perry) that unless he’s on the stage exclusively with Kay, he’s not going to be there,” Medina told the Star-Telegram.

Public television station KERA TV/Channel 13 has already invited both Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson and Governor Rick Perry to attend their big “Texas sized” debate on January 13th; and both candidates have accepted.

But thus far the PBS television station has completely excluded Debra Medina, seemingly out of  fear that the Governor would back out and ruin their huge event.

As such, we need polite supporters of Debra Medina to contact both KERA TV and Rick Perry’s campaign office to request a firm statement of support for Debra Medina’s inclusion in the January KERA PBS Debate of Republican candidates running for Texas Governor.

The Marine stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining,
Just as brightly as his brass.

‘Step forward now, Marine,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?’

The soldier squared his shoulders and said,
‘No, Lord, I guess I ain’t.
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can’t always be a saint.

I’ve had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I’ve been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.

But, I never took a penny,
That wasn’t mine to keep…
Though I worked a lot of overtime,
When the bills got just too steep.

Look here if you liked Ron Paul’s values and views and voted for him for President.  And if you’re not sure about who to vote for in the TX Gubernatorial race, then watch this….

Now, do you really want to vote for a Gubernatorial candidate who ignores, then totally disses and  dismisses the Taxpayer’s Best Friend?  I know I wouldn’t, couldn’t and shouldn’t!

You have a much better choice for Texas Governor…a smart choice with the steadfast determination to set the state back on the right path.  A vote for Debra Medina is the way to go.

A few weeks ago the Peter Morrison Report was contacted by the Debra Medina campaign. She is a Republican candidate for governor here in Texas.  An interview came out of that discussion.

To be fair, I have also contacted the campaigns of the other three declared candidates: Kay Bailey Hutchison, Larry Kilgore and Rick Perry.  If they agree, each will be featured in a future report so you can make an informed decision in March.

The interview consists of a question followed by the candidate’s unedited responses.  Let’s get to it:

Medina Cut out small

Peter Morrison Report: What do you see as the top challenges facing Texas, and our next governor?

Debra Medina: Texas, like all of the United States, is facing unprecedented economic challenges.  Property taxes, excessive regulation and broad use of eminent domain authority all but destroy private property ownership.  Couple those concerns with a growing dependence on federal largesse, a high unemployment rate, additional school property tax buy down and diminishing sales tax returns and you quickly realize that the state of Texas must cut spending drastically and restructure tax in order to relieve the drag it places on the economy.

PMR: In your opinion, what are the causes of the terrible setbacks the Republican Party suffered in 2006 and 2008? How do you think we can reverse this trend?

DM: Failure to walk our talk.  We must elect officials who follow the strict interpretation of constitution and govern in a manner consistent with our party platform.  Recognizing that politics is corrupting and that absolute power corrupts absolutely, the Texas Republican Party should adopt a rule unilaterally establishing term limits as an additional eligibility requirement when seeking a place on the primary ballot for all state officeholders i.e., state representatives, state senators and all state-wide officeholders.  This would serve to protect not punish Republican office holders.  It would keep them beholden to the people they serve and remove incentives to be “bought and paid for” by special interest groups seeking to use the law to gain favor in the marketplace.

injectionsThe European Medicines Agency warns that young children given GlaxoSmithKline’s swine flu shot may get a fever after their second dose.

In a statement issued Friday, the European drug regulator said data from GlaxoSmithKline PLC showed a higher number of children aged six months to 3 years had a fever after their second dose of the Pandemrix vaccine, compared with the first. Kids were also more likely to have side effects like muscle pain, drowsiness, and irritability.

The European regulator recommends children get two doses of swine flu vaccine, though Glaxo says one dose is enough.

Last month, Glaxo advised health authorities not to use one batch of its Canadian-manufactured swine flu vaccine in case it triggered life-threatening side effects like anaphylactic shock.

Abandon your lucrative carbon-scheming, admit there was never a ‘consensus’ and give back the Nobel Peace Prize

December 3, 2009     Al Bore all global warmed up

Al Gore has just cancelled a high-profile appearance at the upcoming Copenhagen climate change conference only days after ‘ClimateGate’ revelations cast doubt on the legitimacy of the scientific ‘consensus’ (“hiding the decline” is not scientific in any respect). Just days ago, CRU director Phil Jones stepped down from his position at East Anglia University.

Further, Gore has been confronted by We Are Change and other groups at book signing events everywhere he goes– and apparently his only response to charges of fraud is to unleash his goons to drag out dissenters. Sounds like Eco-fascism to me. It’s easy to reach consensus when opponents are barred from the conversation (see video below).

The would-be ‘EcoProphet’ and media-darling Al Gore has been thoroughly discredited– along with the science-imposters of the highly-politicized IPCC — and now he is being prominently challenged by rising opposition to the Copenhagen carbon agenda.Lord Monckton has even called for Gore’s arrest.

Gore also apparently made a fool of himself during an appearance with Conan O’Brien a few days ago, as he tried to push an impractical subterranean geothermal solution. Countless papers across the country have ridiculed his appearance, including headlines such as “Just How Stupid is Al Gore, Anyway?” in the Examiner.comThe Hill’s “Earth to Al Gore” and “Gore Pushes ‘Global Warming Scam’” in the Sioux City Journal.

Even the left-leaning Jon Stewart jabbed at “Poor Al Gore” on the popular Daily Show, mocking that “global warming [has been] debunked via the Internet YOU invented.”
