(There will be a bit of an “after-convention mixer” to meet the speakers and “talk shop” either at the Hangar Hotel in the room we have reserved or at a local establishment. Details will be announced soon.)

WHY: Our bylaws call for a state convention every two years, primarily to elect officers. Those who attend and vote will elect a new Vice-Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer, and will determine what caucuses are formed for the next two years and who will represent them on the Board. The world’s largest abortion provider hit a new low during the Christmas season – as was recently reported by Americans United for Life, Planned Parenthood was selling Christmas gift certificates for abortion as part of their end-of-year fundraising drive.* These appalling “gifts” are just another example of Planned Parenthood’s long history of shameful marketing practices and cheapening of human life.

Planned Parenthood has also resurrected their infamous “Choice on Earth” campaign – a disgusting mockery of the traditional Christmas spirit of Peace on Earth. Clearly, Planned Parenthood isn’t interested in peace. They are interested in only one thing: using your tax dollars to expand access to abortion services. Now, more than ever, it’s time to cut off their financial lifeline.

Here are the facts: Planned Parenthood receives over $350 million of your tax dollars each year – nearly one-third of their funding comes directly from taxpayers like you and me. Indeed, tax dollars are the lifeblood of the Planned Parenthood empire.

So the strategy is simple: starve the beast by cutting Planned Parenthood off at the source. With your help, Americans United for Life  can leverage our pro-life momentum in the new Congress to defund this behemoth. But the work ahead isn’t easy as we’ll need to raise at least $223,000 during the critical month of December. We are confident we can reach this goal with your immediate contribution.
