When election time rolls around, we often don’t think of what it takes financially to get good, conservatives to the point where we have a choice to vote for them.  The big dogs have nearly unlimited treasure chests of “special interest groups” and corporate funding (through their well-paid CEOs, CFOs, their PR firms, etc.).  But what about “the little guy [or gal],” like Joe Petronis (U. S. Rep. CD 10), David Smith (U. S. Rep. CD 2), Bruce West (U.S. Rep. CD 8) or Mary Huls (Texas Rep. Dist. 129)?

So, today, Tuesday, February 2, 2010, is a “Constitutional, conservative, non-incumbent money bomb day” for those folks who don’t have the humongous war chests to get their names and faces out there!!

Please visit their respective donation links:

Joe Petronis (CD 10)
David Smith (CD 2) — (Donation link is on upper right side, near the top)
Bruce West (U.S. CD 8) — (Scroll to about half-way down, center of page to get donation link)
Mary Huls (Texas Rep. Dist. 129)

So, if you are able please contribute today to help elect these freedom-loving candidates and champions of liberty.  Or, if you have another Constitutionally-oriented, conservative candidate in mind, please donate generously to him or her at this time.  Reach into your pockets, be a patriot and elect a freedom lover in the upcoming Republican Primaries or in the General Election for Libertarians!! We thank you for your time in promoting the message of liberty!

Ron Paul Republican Debra Medina needs our help to get at the truth!

“KERA (a PBS TV station) is buckling to demands by the governor (Rick Perry) that unless he’s on the stage exclusively with Kay, he’s not going to be there,” Medina told the Star-Telegram.

http://startelegram.typepad.com/politex/2009/12/medina-kera-debate-will-be-a-campaign-issue.html

Public television station KERA TV/Channel 13 has already invited both Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson and Governor Rick Perry to attend their big “Texas sized” debate on January 13th; and both candidates have accepted.

But thus far the PBS television station has completely excluded Debra Medina, seemingly out of  fear that the Governor would back out and ruin their huge event.

As such, we need polite supporters of Debra Medina to contact both KERA TV and Rick Perry’s campaign office to request a firm statement of support for Debra Medina’s inclusion in the January KERA PBS Debate of Republican candidates running for Texas Governor.

Today may have been the 404th  anniversary of Guy Fawkes’ Gunpowder Plot, guarding the gunpowder that was to be used for blowing up British Parliament.  But we Americans can give it a new twist in stirring things up!  No explosives needed.

If you’re a liberty-loving American Patriot, please visit http://www.thisnovember5th.com/ .  You can contribute to Debra Medina (Gubernatorial candidate, TX),  Rand Paul (US Senate, KY), Adam Kokesh (State Rep. Dist. 3 candidate, NM),  Peter Schiff (US Senate, CT), just to name a few.guy-fawkes

You can also donate to these other liberty-loving, socially-responsible and fiscally conservative candidates such as David Smith, TX CD 2 and Joe Petronis, TX CD 10, by visiting their respective campaign websites.

Uh-oh…. That guy didn’t just call that our glorious, hope bearing, change bringing, savior a border-destroying, baby-murdering, mortgage reneging, conscious-less, Communist illegal alien, birth certificate-hiding, presidency-usurping abomination?  Oh no, he did-unt!!  I just can’t believe in that CHANGE for the worst.  I HOPE someone will call the ACLU, Rev. Jackson or Rev. Sharpton!  Call Oprah!

Video and story from YouTube.com, user “keyes2008.”

Dr. Alan Keyes was a featured speaker at a fundraiser for the Triple A Crisis Pregnancy Center in Hastings, Nebraska, on February 19, 2009, where a reporter from KHAS-TV interviewed him about his thoughts on Obama. With conviction, Alan firmly stated that Obama is a radical communist (which he is) and a usurper (which he has done since he hasn’t produced an original birth certificate). And that Obama supports infanticide–the killing of babies born alive after botched abortions. Read the rest of this entry »

Rick Perry, Debra Medina, Kay Baily Hutchison

Rick Perry and Kay Bailey Hutchison have been in office a long time.

Both started their political careers in the Texas House. Both were elected to statewide office for the first time in 1990.

Hutchison was elected as state treasurer and then in 1993 won a special election to the U.S. Senate. She still holds that job today but plans to run for governor in 2010.

After two terms as Texas agriculture commissioner, Perry was elected as lieutenant governor in 1998 and then stepped up to governor when George W. Bush was elected president. He is expected to run for governor again in 2010.

Considering their long records as Republican officeholders, you might assume a Republican activist would be torn between supporting one of the other next year.

But in Debra Medina’s case, that assumption would be wrong. And she hopes a majority of rank-and-file GOP voters agree with her.

The former Wharton County Republican chairman is presenting a third option in the GOP gubernatorial primary.

Medina is a Ron Paul-style Republican.

“I certainly have grown up politically under his tutelage,” she said of Paul, noting that she lives in the former presidential candidate’s congressional district and worked in his 2008 re-election campaign. Read the rest of this entry »

About Adam Kokesh

(From DraftKokesh.com)

Adam Charles Kokesh was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and a veteran of the Iraq War. Upon return he became an anti-U.S. occupation of Iraq activist and the Marine Corps tried to effectively downgrade his original honorable discharge in response. Ultimately, the Marine Corps failed to secure the “other than honorable” discharge that was sought, with a military tribunal instead ruling that Kokesh was to receive a general discharge (under honorable conditions.)
