Someone who pointed me to Glenn Beck’s website for another show he did on health care and I ran across this article. It’s a portion of the audio and text of an album that Ronald Reagan did during the AMA’s opposition in the late 50s and early 60s to the Democrats’ plan to extend Social Security to include health insurance for the elderly. At that time, Reagan was “just an actor from California.” Dubbed Operation Coffee Cup Campaign, this album would be played at coffee meetings organized by doctors’ wives attempting to convince acquaintances to write letters to Congress opposing the program.

I did read a good portion of The Lonely Conservative’s transcript but saw a few small errors, so use at your caution.
At one point in the audio/transcript, you hear/read what’s called in layman’s terms the “frog and boiling pot of water” analogy as to implementation of forcing changes upon a populace unwilling to go full speed ahead on an outright, disclosed plan (agenda)… Hmmm, me thinks we keep having to re-fight the same old BS subversive crap every 40-50 yrs. I guess they think we either forgot about it or won’t figure it out on our own by doing a little research. Our parents and grandparents didn’t have it that easy. But, thank God it’s 2009 and Al Gore invented the internet.

And I thought, you know what, that’s kind of cool because it’s an old video of Ronald Reagan, but we’ve got to hippen this up a little bit.
