There has been plenty of controversy surrounding Arizona’s new immigration enforcement legislation; however, instead of being disputed, Arizona should be commended for addressing the immigration problems that the United States federal government has ignored. I would never deny anyone the opportunity to become a United States citizen, but the immigration process shall be strictly followed. The following list is my solutions to the United State’s immigration process.

The United States shall close all of its borders by:

  • Establishing three military bases along the borders of California, Arizona, and Texas. All land along the border will be patrolled by the United States military, and all illegal immigrants that are caught will be processed (Picture and finger printed) returned from wherever they originated from. A second offense will result in prison not to exceed 2 years. A third offense will result a mandatory sentence of 5 years. In all cases they will be returned to their country.
  • Stopping immediately all social services, e.g., Medicare, social security, Welfare, etc., for all immigrants and illegals. If these services are required, See USCIS on “How to become a United States Citizen.”
  • Heavily fining any employers who are hiring illegal worker.  The first offense will be 20% of the current years profits. Second offense will be 50% of the current years profits. Third offense will result in that company shutting down for 1 year and 100% of the current years profits. That illegal will be fined and/or imprisoned for up to 2 years and not more than $10,000. No exceptions.
  • Instituting a 90-day forgiveness plan. During that 90-day period, all illegal immigrants will be encouraged to return home and start the legal process for returning to the United States. All paperwork shall be completed in order to return, and all immigrants shall have an ID (passport) and medical insurance. If an illegal immigrant ignores the 90-day forgiveness plan, then they will not be allowed to return to the US. If illegal is caught in anyway in the US, That person or person would face heavy fines and/or prison and lose of all properties and returned to the country of origin. (Up to, but not more than 2 years and/or up to, but not more that $10,000).

April 30,2010 – Houston
The Houston Tea Party Society hosted an event at the Crowne Plaza Hotel to allow candidates for the 2010 Congressional Races in the Houston and Southeast Texas to participate and sign the Contract From America.    The event was open to all congressional Candidates in the South East Texas area including incumbents and challengers.

The Contract from America is self described as a grassroots-generated, crowd-sourced, bottom-up call for real economic conservative and good governance reform in Congress.   The initative was developed within the decentralized tea party and 912 movements. Ryan Hecker, a Houston Tea Party Society activist, developed the concept of creating a grassroots-generated call for reform prior to the April 15, 2009 Tax Day Tea Party rallies.

John Culberson (R ) of Texas District 7 was the only incumbent present for the signing.    The candidates in attendance included Libertarians Bruce West of the 8th district, David Smith of the 2nd District and Steve Susman of the 22nd District.   Republican signers for the contract were John Faulk – District 18.

Congressional candidate David Smith, CD 2-TX

John Culberson was the first to sign the contract.   Before signing the contract, he took exception to the 9th item which was to reduce pork.   The contract states that congress will not pass any earmarks until the budget is balanced and only then with a 2/3 majority vote.    Culberson declined to include that item and used a “Line item veto” with that rule.

Congressional candidate Steve Susman, CD 22-TX

All other candidates signed the contract without any exceptions or exemptions.   David Smith who is opposing Ted Poe of the 2ndCongressional District, used his time to mention “Fiscal Responsibility is vital to our economy and our government.”   He also noted that he had been busy campaigning in a non-stop door to door campaign.

TEST YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF THESE THREE HOUSTON-AREA CONGRESSMAN.
SEE HOW MANY YOU CAN GUESS CORRECTLY. ANSWERS ARE BELOW.
BUT NO MATTER HOW MANY YOU GUESS CORRECTLY,
IF THESE GUYS KEEP GETTING ELECTED, WE ALL LOSE!!!!

=================

This Congressman, Rep. _(1)_,  is on the Committee of Foreign Affairs but yet said and held the outward opinion until recently “there is little that can be done about the border situation.”  Mexican military units have been as far as 30 mi. inland in the U S and have fired upon residential neighborhoods on American soil and also upon Border Patrol agents.  [View video from of “border incursions” here, first video in the list, about half-way down the page.]

=================

This Congressman voted for the renewal of the Patriot Act (H R 3961), which now “gives permission” to the federal government to snoop into your medical records without a warrant and for causes unrelated to any ongoing criminal investigation (i.e., whenever a government bureaucrat wants to and thinks you’re up to no damn good!!)  His last name is alphabetically the first Rep. of this horrid trio.  [See Roll Call Vote for H R 3961.]  He is Rep. _(2)_.

This Congressman also voted for the renewal of the Patriot Act (H R 3961), which now “gives permission” to the federal government to snoop into your medical records without a warrant and for causes unrelated to any ongoing criminal investigation (i.e., whenever a government bureaucrat wants to and thinks you’re up to no damn good!!)  His last name is alphabetically the second Rep. of this horrid trio. [See Roll Call Vote for H R 3961.]  He is Rep. _(3)_.

Good news, folks!! Ms. Debra Medina (recent Republican Gubernatorial candidate), the good doctor Ron Paul himself, Mr. David Smith (CD 2, TX), Mr. Guy McLendon (Harris County Libertarian Party Chair), Mr. Pat Dixon (Libertarian Party of Texas Chair) and several other politicos were mentioned in a recent Houston Chronicle story.

Mar 2

With growing unrest toward both political parties it’s not surprising that the Libertarian Party has become a ideological refuge for many disgruntled voters. With that, they are growing and are looking to fill a full-time, PAID, bilingual position.
