An old-timey favorite peanut and popcorn snack food had as their advertising slogan many years ago, “When you’re really good, they call you Cracker Jack.”  I’d like to borrow from this and update it to say, “When you’re really good, they do a positive You Tube video and original song about you and the video jumps from 500 hits to 1,000 in one day!!”

“…Here’s what we’re talking about,
Texas and this country need new leadership fast,
And of that, there’s no room for doubt.

…Deb’s the one, who’s gonna do what they say can’t be done…
A true grassroots, peoples’ candidate ….
I’ll be twanging my guitar for …
Debra, the new sweetheart of the Lone Star State…

We’ve got the power to change the way it is,
Shout it out so that freedom can ring….
We can bring about most anything…
with a vision that is second to none…”

A group identified as “The Guerilla Effect” just released their parody of the Texas Gubernatorial race. The video is a bit long (23 minutes) but offers a rolling mix of overt and subtle humor. It appears no candidate was spared ridicule however we couldnt help notice that Medina’s criticisms stem largely from her pro-gun stance and simply knowing too much about every topic.

Texas Gubernatorial Debate 3 from guerilla.effect on Vimeo.

Rick Perry seems portrayed as a Bush-like frat boy more concerned about condescending to the questioneers and his hair than answering the questions and Kay Bailey Hutchinson gets featured as a soft-spoken follower, with no real opinions of her own.

The video borders on offensive in some cases when Kay is playing a hand-held video game entitled Fetus Flush 2 or when the video’s “host” Billy Kerboppler seems to do all of his scenes without pants on. However, the video is sure to make you smile and even laugh all the way through.

Our favorite part: Medina’s epic speech starting around 10 min 10 sec.

Not a bad little video for Debra Medina … Just in case you’ve forgotten all the “wonderful” little and big gifts Rick Perry has given Texans over the past nine years, view the below!

On January 16, 2010, I drove to Austin, Texas to attend a rally at the State Capitol.

This rally was intended to assert the citizens’ desire for Texas Governor Rick Perry to call a special session in the Texas State Legislature immediately for nullification not only of Congress’s proposed health care bill, but ANY bill that Texas citizens felt was unconstitutional and to assert the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution that reminds us that the powers that are not delegated to the U.S. government by the Constitution are retained by the separate states and by the people …

Video courtesy of You Tube user Trinity Texas 77, but posted on We Are Change Austin’s You Tube Channel due to You Tube’s censorship

The rally, which was largely promoted by a group called New Revolution Now, featured speakers like John Stacy and State Representative Leo Berman.

What I found was that the most important speakers of that day were the citizens that attended the rally. What I saw was that their voices, although powerful and resonant, were not entirely heard.

Their wish to see Debra Medina, candidate for Texas Governor speak, was not granted that afternoon.

Medina had another engagement in Austin that evening after the rally and hadn’t officially been invited to speak at the rally, but according to sources she had briefly stopped by the Capitol that day after hearing of the overwhelming voices of her supporters.

Look here if you liked Ron Paul’s values and views and voted for him for President.  And if you’re not sure about who to vote for in the TX Gubernatorial race, then watch this….

Now, do you really want to vote for a Gubernatorial candidate who ignores, then totally disses and  dismisses the Taxpayer’s Best Friend?  I know I wouldn’t, couldn’t and shouldn’t!

You have a much better choice for Texas Governor…a smart choice with the steadfast determination to set the state back on the right path.  A vote for Debra Medina is the way to go.

Abandon your lucrative carbon-scheming, admit there was never a ‘consensus’ and give back the Nobel Peace Prize

December 3, 2009     Al Bore all global warmed up

Al Gore has just cancelled a high-profile appearance at the upcoming Copenhagen climate change conference only days after ‘ClimateGate’ revelations cast doubt on the legitimacy of the scientific ‘consensus’ (“hiding the decline” is not scientific in any respect). Just days ago, CRU director Phil Jones stepped down from his position at East Anglia University.

Further, Gore has been confronted by We Are Change and other groups at book signing events everywhere he goes– and apparently his only response to charges of fraud is to unleash his goons to drag out dissenters. Sounds like Eco-fascism to me. It’s easy to reach consensus when opponents are barred from the conversation (see video below).

The would-be ‘EcoProphet’ and media-darling Al Gore has been thoroughly discredited– along with the science-imposters of the highly-politicized IPCC — and now he is being prominently challenged by rising opposition to the Copenhagen carbon agenda.Lord Monckton has even called for Gore’s arrest.

Gore also apparently made a fool of himself during an appearance with Conan O’Brien a few days ago, as he tried to push an impractical subterranean geothermal solution. Countless papers across the country have ridiculed his appearance, including headlines such as “Just How Stupid is Al Gore, Anyway?” in the Examiner.comThe Hill’s “Earth to Al Gore” and “Gore Pushes ‘Global Warming Scam’” in the Sioux City Journal.

Even the left-leaning Jon Stewart jabbed at “Poor Al Gore” on the popular Daily Show, mocking that “global warming [has been] debunked via the Internet YOU invented.”

Uhm, not quite sure what to say about this one, other than some of those global warming alarmists/enviro-Nazis  have probably got a fungus on their brain for thinking this will speak well for their cause.  Besides, do you REALLY think they walk or bike from New York to Philly or Boston to attend THEIR rallies??  Come on, baby, if you believe that, I got some ocean front property in Arizona…. from my front porch, you can see the sea.

This is a very interesting cartoon from 1948.  Still very relevant today and is especially chilling in parts, especially when they talk about how the ISM just wants to divide & conquer by playing the race, age, sex, religion and party cards…

Pay close attention to some of the comments.  Many give a good plan of action for righting the direction we’re headed…  and follow the parallels for today’s political climate.
