While I’ve never been a big fan of the Bush presidential family, it is definitely striking to see how the troops treated Bush Junior versus how they treated Obama.  Maybe it has alot to do with Obama pissing on the true patriots of America, her troops in combat and those returning veterans.  Even if you’re against the wars themselves, you have to admit that even on his/her worst day, the “average” American soldier has ten times more patriotism in his/her little pinkie than Commie-in-Chief Obama could ever try to muster.

President Obama will be handed the power to shut down the Internet for at least four months without Congressional oversight if the Senate votes for the infamous Internet ‘kill switch’ bill, which was approved by a key Senate committee yesterday and now moves to the floor.

The Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act, which is being pushed hard by Senator Joe Lieberman, would hand absolute power to the federal government to close down networks, and block incoming Internet traffic from certain countries under a declared national emergency.

Despite the Center for Democracy and Technology and 23 other privacy and technology organizations sending letters to Lieberman and other backers of the bill expressing concerns that the legislation could be used to stifle free speech, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee passed in the bill in advance of a vote on the Senate floor.

In response to widespread criticism of the bill, language was added that would force the government to seek congressional approval to extend emergency measures beyond 120 days. Still, this would hand Obama the authority to shut down the Internet on a whim without Congressional oversight or approval for a period of no less than four months.

The Senators pushing the bill rejected the claim that the bill was a ‘kill switch’ for the Internet, not by denying that Obama would be given the authority to shut down the Internet as part of this legislation, but by arguing that he already had the power to do so.

I invite you to read for yourself his misnamed “National Security Strategy” – misnamed because it is actually a blueprint for running the whole world like he’s been running the United States since January 2009.

Obama is hardly the first president to plead for America to join a New World Order. It started with the first George Bush and has continued unabated through three more administrations. But Obama’s so-called “National Security Strategy” has little to do with securing the U.S. from threats and much more to do with turning over the U.S. to the illegitimate authority of global organizations.

It starts early in the table of contents: “Promoting a Just and Sustainable International Order.”

Woodrow Wilson tried with the League of Nations. Franklin D. Roosevelt tried with the United Nations. I guess we’re going to keep trying this path until we get it right.

This Fire Dog Lake article discusses documents in the criminal trial of disgraced former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich.  Chicago’s NBC affiliate station has posted previously redacted information that had been missing from a subpoena requesting that Barack Obama testify in the trial.

Perhaps the person doing the redaction work on the subpoena had little experience redacting personal information to be published.  Or, perhaps someone really wanted the real information to be seen so the citizens of Illinois, as well as the country as a whole, would know what Former Senator Obama has been up to all these years.  That trial court’s judge, Judge James B. Zagel, called an emergency meeting over redaction errors.

The hubub of this trial is that Barack Obama is claiming that he can’t be forced to testify at all in Blagojevich’s trial proceedings since he’s a sitting President.  This is despite the fact that the acts alleged by the U. S. Government in the state of Illinois against Blagojevich occurred when Obama was a mere U S Senator from Illinois.  NO immunity would apply.

(Think back to Bill Clinton and the “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.”  Those acts occurred while Clinton was Governor of Arkansas and were not “official acts” of the office carrying out an official duty, so no immunity would apply.)

At the heart of the matter, Blagojevich’s defense attorneys allege that Tony Rezko, a former neighbor, former fundraiser and former friend of the Obamas, admitted to violating election law by personally contributing “a large sum of cash” to a public official’s campaign.  Blagojevich’s attorneys and other people in Blagojevich’s circle say that Barack Obama is the “public official.”

Blagojevich’s lawyers claim that Obama may not have been telling the truth when he said Rezko never relayed a request from a lobbyist to hold a fundraiser for Obama in exchange for favorable legislative action (Obama, however, refused to agree to the offer, Rezko allegedly says).  They also claim that Obama allegedly lied when he said he didn’t have any conversations with Rezko about a casino license.

On top of this Blagojevich case and the dozens of birth certificate challenge lawsuits around the country against Barack Obama, including the docket for Berg v. Obama, et al., 2:08-CV-04083-RBS, a Philadelphia, PA case regarding Obama’s eligibility to serve as United States President.  In order to view the documents hyperlink in the Berg case docket, you must either already have a PACER account set up, set one up or locate the documents from a source that already has purchased put on their website the documents.  PACER accounts have a set-up cost [but this writer is unsure about the amount of that] and $.08/page for downloading documents thereafter.  Here is the originating document in the case, the Complaint for Declaratory and Injunctive Relief.  This should be interesting, folks…  Keep tuned for more later.

Very interesting video on how McCain has repeatedly and over the course of years failed the state of AZ as to border protection.  And he wanted to be YOUR PRESIDENT??  WTF?!!!  I think NOT!!

CNSNews.com) – The Obama administration announced on Tuesday (March 23rd) it has reserved 3,000 free tickets to the annual White House Easter Egg Roll for students in D.C.-area public and charter schools, but not for children who attend private or parochial schools.

Why exclude children in private and parochial schools, asked the father of a parochial school student at Tuesday’s press conference where U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan and District of Columbia Mayor Adrian Fenty announced the ticket giveaway.

“These tickets are from the White House to public schools, and we’re appreciative, but there may be other things unrelated to this press conference,” Fenty responded. “That’s a great question.”

The 3,000 reserved tickets will be distributed to students at 11 public schools in D.C. and a few others in Virginia and Maryland. Children at private or parochial schools in the Washington metropolitan area may attend the April 5 event, but only if they are among the people who registered for an online lottery system, by which the remaining free tickets — an estimated 27,000 — will be distributed.

That lottery is now closed, however. “All entries will have an equal chance of being selected if your application was submitted by Sunday, February 28,” the White House Web site says. Lottery results were announced on March 4.

Robert Brannum’s 17-year-old son Nicholas attends St. John’s College High School, a Catholic school in the District. Brannum told CNSNews.com he believes the 3,000 tickets reserved for public school students should be available to all students.

“The White House is a public building,” Brannum said. “The tickets are essentially being paid for with public dollars. So it should be open to everyone, not just going to select categories of students.”

With the signing of an under-publicized amendment to Executive Order 12425, Barack Obama has fundamentally altered your constitutional rights. His actions are undermining your rights to protect personal privacy from a foreign internationalist police agency named Interpol. A one-paragraph executive order may seem inconsequential to many, but this action has far-reaching implications and threatens the sovereignty of America.

Obama’s secretive executive order amended an order issued by President Reagan in 1983. Reagan’s order recognized Interpol as an international organization and gave it privileges and immunities commonly extended to foreign diplomats. Reagan opened the door to allow Interpol to operate in partnership with the U.S. but with significant constitutional safeguards. Specifically, Interpol’s property and assets remained subject to search and seizure by American law enforcement, and its archived records remained subject to public scrutiny under provisions of the Freedom of Information Act. Interpol had to answer to the FBI and U.S. courts under Reagan’s order. These safeguards were stripped away by Obama’s action the week before Christmas without debate or explanation. Obama picked the holiday season to make this radical change, to minimize media coverage.
