Dear Governor Perry:

If you are willing, there is still time to enact legislation to protect the dignity of travelers in Texas. Egregious intrusive searches without probable cause continue every day by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Texans and indeed Americans around this nation are fed up with this out of control federal bureaucracy that has promulgated practices that violate the 4th Amendment and that treat grandmothers, the handicapped, Iraqi war veterans with prosthetic limbs, boys, girls and infants as criminal suspects-touching their private parts as a condition of travel.

You write in your book, Fed Up, that you want to “help foster a nationwide conversation about the role of government in our lives” (Fed Up, 187). I can think of no role less suitable for our federal government than that of routinely violating innocent citizens of this state and those of the entire country.

So…I was asked to look into what I feel may have caused a good number of our industries to outsource their jobs overseas. I spent the last day or so reading and going through some statistics. I’ve come up with a couple of reasons and opinions that I feel shed some light in MY eyes as to why this trend has been inching up over the years to the point of rocketing out of control. The questions that seems to coincide with “Why?” are “Who’s to blame?” or “Are we not good enough?”

I think, in the end, we have to look at our country and ourselves, as citizens, at what our home has become. As I have preached to anyone that will listen, accountability is the key to success. Hands down. No matter what you do. Or what it is you want to do. It has to be the foundation to which you base your work ethic. Accountability builds integrity. Integrity gives you power. And, this will start a chain reaction of success beyond belief. I think somewhere along the line there has been enough people that, to me, stopped realizing or refusing to acknowledge how critical integrity plays in the workplace. Like I said we all have to shoulder some of the blame. Whether it’s us, as workers, or our government. So, until we realize that our country, as a whole, has placed us in this situation where our very way of life is threatened.

It’s long overdue for Congress to stop the racket of bringing pregnant women into this country to give birth, receive free medical care, and then call their babies U.S. citizens entitled to all American rights and privileges plus generous handouts. Between 300,000 and 400,000 babies are born to illegal aliens in the United States every year, at least 10 percent of all births.

We have tolerated an entire industry called “birth tourism,” offering “birth packages” costing thousands of dollars, to import pregnant women from all over the world, Korea to Turkey (12,000 U.S.-born Turkish babies have been arranged since 2003). An electronic billboard in Mexico, advertising the services of an American doctor, proclaims, “Do you want to have your baby in the U.S?”

The advantages of birthright citizenship are immense. The babies get Medicaid (including birth costs), Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, and food stamps. Obviously, the baby shares his goodies with his family.

As soon as the child becomes an adult, he can legalize his parents, bring into the U.S. a foreign-born spouse and any foreign-born siblings. They all can then bring in their own extended families, a policy called chain migration.

Just got back in from Fredricksburg from our 2011 State Texas Liberty Campaign Convention.  I wanted to get a summary out for those who attended, and those who could not.

First, a big thanks to Craig Young for all his work on preparations and speakers for the event, Griffin for his work on the By-laws, and to Jim, Dan, Matthew, and Lance, among others from this group, who attended.

First, a little history and talk on what the Texas Liberty Campaign IS. (This is a brief synopsis, in generality, so forgive me any errors…)

In September 2008, at the Ron Paul rally for the Republic, the Campaign for Liberty was announced, with a strong top down structure.  Representatives from each state attended a formation meeting.  Each state was to have a certain time to form a board of directors that could then join the national organization.

Members of the state who attended the rally decided to send representatives to this meeting, then when they got back with the general members, it was decided that Texas would take a different “bottoms-up” approach.

Well, just how is that “hopey-changey” European Union thigie working out “across the
Big Pond”?? In this video, UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage lays it all out.

Farage is a founding Member of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) & a member of
the European Parliament (MEP) for the South East region and is the leader of the
parliamentary party in the EU parliament. The central aim of the party is the UK’s
withdrawal from the European Union and to regain control of this nation’s governance
through our own Parliament at Westminster. 

At one point, Mr Farage states, “Complete madness has overcome the European Union:
on the broader point there are those here who do see the European project a staging
post to one world government.”

Law enforcement across the country are being educated that informed Americans who know their rights are dangerous and that cops are their enemy.

A secret report distributed by the Missouri Information Analysis Center lists Ron Paul supporters, libertarians, people who display bumper stickers, people who own gold, or even people who fly a U.S. flag and equates them with radical race hate groups and terrorists. This is merely the latest example in an alarming trend which confirms that law enforcement across the country is being trained that American citizens are a dangerous enemy.

A copy of the MIAC report was sent to us by two Missouri police officers who were concerned by its content.¹

Perhaps due to the outlandish and shocking nature of the document, some people are still having difficulty believing it is real. Unfortunately, we have confirmed that it’s 100 per cent genuine. We spoke with Capt Hull at the Missouri State Highway Patrol who told us that the MIAC Strategic Report is a part “normal operation for officers” to receive these periodic reports for “safety purposes and to track trends or changes”. Hull added that the report was for the purposes of training their officers.

Memo to Each HHS Employee Working on Implementing Obamacare: How Would ‘10 Years in Federal Prison for Violating 18 USC 641′ Look On Your Resume?

Now that a federal judge has obliterated Obamacare by ruling it unconstitutional, Alaska’s governor is asking the obvious question: would continuing to spend money implementing an unconstitutional law represent fraud against the U.S. taxpayer?

Alaska Gov. Sean Parnell is asking his attorney general to advise him on whether implementing the federal health care overhaul would put Parnell in violation of his oath of office. 

A federal judge in Florida this week struck down the law as unconstitutional in a case joined by 26 states, including Alaska. A major point of contention is a provision requiring citizens to buy health insurance… Parnell says he took an oath to support and defend the constitutions of the United States and Alaska. While the Republican governor concedes the issue is expected to be decided by the U.S. Supreme Court, he says he has a duty to uphold the law and wants the attorney general to advise him on what the duty is after the Florida ruling.
